Carrier Solutions

FirstLight has been building and operating its own fiber optic network for over 20 years in both urban and rural markets. FirstLight now operates a network comprised of more than 15,000 route miles, nearly 9,000 lit locations and an additional 30,000 near-net locations throughout the Northeast and up to Canada. FirstLight has the connectivity solutions you need to accelerate the growth of your business.

Our Network Operations Center (NOC), located in downtown Albany, monitors the network 24×7×365 to ensure that the services we provide to our wholesale customers operate at peak performance. Our employees are based in the markets they serve ensuring that their local knowledge translates into solutions that are designed to help our wholesale customers gain a competitive advantage in the market. Locally-based teams also allow us to respond quickly should an issue arise.
