It has already been a busy spring for FirstLight, with a pair of events geared toward communicating with our current partners as well as building new relationships.
First, our Partner Program team met with potential partners at Great North Aleworks in Manchester, NH, to discuss pairing the best FirstLight solutions with customer needs. In line with that theme, we also enjoyed some amazing food and beer pairings!
At the event, it was important for us to reconnect with existing partners and to meet with potential partners to share how our footprint has dramatically expanded during the past six months, through a variety of strategic acquisitions aimed at enhancing our reputation as a leading fiber-optic bandwidth infrastructure services provider operating in the Northeast. It truly is an exciting time at FirstLight, and 2017 is shaping up to be our most successful year yet.
This growth has allowed us to offer a new product set combined with cloud services. In continuing with our pairing theme, we offered the “courses” listed below”
First Course – Backup and Recovery
Second Course – Data Center and Colo
Third Course – Disaster Recovery
Fourth Course – Virtual Desktop
We also highlighted the fact that we remain focused on serving the communications needs of businesses located throughout our footprint, so that our customers can always count on locally-based support that ca quickly mobilize and respond to issues. To help our partners, we have added more resources to our channel team. We are proud to welcome – John Harrison, Erica Levesque, Jeff Tougas and Dave Gibson to the team.
In addition to our successful Partner Program event, our Chief Information Officer, Scott Gilbert and Mark Ayotte, Senior Director of Alternate Channels, embarked on a trip to Las Vegas for the Channel Conference and Expo, April 10 to 12, at Mandalay Bay. The conference gathered VARs and telco partners seeking hardware, software, cloud and recurring revenue solutions. Scott and Mark were very excited to share the latest news surrounding FirstLight and our recent growth. They met with a variety of peers and potential partners, and we’re now even more confident that together with our partners we will close more business in 2017.
During Channel Partners, we also were encouraged to see so many event and exhibits were geared around solutions that FirstLight is now supporting, including cloud solutions.
Stay tuned for more updates about our channel program and the various events we are attending and hosting this spring and beyond!
